For the 2012-2013 Edgewood is going to be using the Ohio Department of Education's Model Curriculum.
All Social Studies teachers in grade 6-12 are also required to teach literacy skills (reading and writing) to meet the Career and College Readiness Standards developed by the Common Core Institute.
